
The Miami Dolphins have made public their decision to renew the contract of defensive back Elijah Campbell.
Campbell has contributed to the team over the course of three seasons (2021-23), where he has appeared in 38 games, starting twice. During this time, he has accumulated a total of 16 tackles (with 10 being solo), along with two passes defensed and one fumble recovery. Additionally, Campbell has made his mark on special teams with 13 tackles (nine solo) and has participated in two postseason games.
Before making his mark with the Dolphins, Campbell began his NFL journey as an undrafted college free agent with the Cleveland Browns on May 4, 2018. He has also gained experience with other teams such as the New York Jets (2020-21), the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football (2019), and the DC Defenders of the XFL (2020). Campbell honed his skills at Northern Iowa during his collegiate football career.
