Brooks is set to kick off his fifth NFL season, having spent the previous four (2020-23) with the Seahawks. Notably, over the last three seasons (2021-23), he has consistently notched up 100-plus tackles and started in 16 or more games each year. Throughout his NFL journey, Brooks has amassed an impressive tally of 512 tackles (with 308 solo tackles), along with 6.5 sacks, one interception, 16 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. Additionally, he boasts experience in starting a playoff game.

His NFL venture commenced when he was drafted as the 27th overall pick in the first round by the Seattle Seahawks during the 2020 NFL Draft, following an illustrious collegiate career at Texas Tech University.
